Our Nurses
All consultations with our nurses are by appointment. You can book an appointment yourself online, directly in the nurses’ schedule. The only requirement is that you are enrolled in our fixed-rate system.
Appointent with a nurse
You can see our nurses by appointment for certain medical procedures as referred by your general practitioner. These may include:
- Blood sampling
- Vaccinations
- Wound care
- Cast removal
- Ear irrigation
- Suture removal
- Electrocardiograms
- Lung function tests
- Wart freezing
- Pap smears
- Completing preoperative questionnaires
- Advance care planning, and more
We recommend booking an appointment with our nurses, as this often allows you to receive assistance on the same day.
Additionally, in collaboration with the doctors, the nurses follow up on patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, asthma/chronic bronchitis (COPD), high blood pressure, and kidney disease. Our nurses also work with your doctor to maintain your personal prevention file.

Home nursing (after surgery or hospitalization)
Our practice also provides nursing care at home. If you need home nursing care, possibly after a hospital stay or at the request of a specialist/general practitioner, the practice will arrange this for you.
Take action in time:
- Call us by phone. (After working hours, select option 2 for the on-call nurse.)
- Provide your name, address, phone number, the required care, and the start date.
- If you are hospitalized, inform the hospital in time that you are enrolled at Medisch Huis ’t Rondpunt and that your home nursing care will be arranged through our practice.
Important
During hospitalization, ensure the hospital knows you are registered with Medisch Huis ’t Rondpunt and that your home nursing will be provided through our practice.
If home nursing is arranged externally by the hospital, this will NOT be reimbursed by the health insurance fund. Being registered with Medisch Huis ’t Rondpunt obligates you to use our nurses for home care. Inform the hospital in time that your home nursing is provided by Medisch Huis ’t Rondpunt to prevent external nursing arrangements and avoid unnecessary costs.
