Our general practitioners

All consultations with the doctor take place by appointment. The only requirement is that you are registered in our flat-rate system.

Please wear a face mask if you have symptoms of infection.

Consultation with the doctor

The doctor takes the necessary time to focus on your overall health and general well-being. Preventive measures may also be discussed.

Your general practitioner will listen to you and examine you. Additional tests may sometimes be needed, such as a blood test or a heart tracing. These tests will be carried out by the nurse. That is why it is important that you come to the practice in Laakdal or Geel for your consultation.

Always bring your eID, your electronic identity card. This is important for certificates and reimbursements.

We do our best to respect appointment times as accurately as possible, so that you can be helped on time. Sometimes consultations may take longer than expected, because we want to offer everyone the best possible care. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

You can also book a telephone consultation with our one of our doctors. The doctor will call you. (The time at which the doctor contacts you may differ slightly from the scheduled time.)

Home visits by doctors

Since better diagnostic and treatment options are available at the practice, we advise you to visit the practice whenever possible. If you are unable to come to the practice, you can request a home visit by phone between 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM.

Triage

If you need urgent help, you can always call us.

We work with a triage system, so that real medical emergencies receive priority.

Doctor call times

Doctors are available for phone calls on weekdays from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM. During these times, you can call to request a prescription or discuss test results (e.g., blood tests).

You can, of course, ALWAYS contact the general practitioners by phone for urgent matters. The medical secretariat is available by phone throughout the day and is always ready to answer your questions.

Book your appointment wisely

Book your appointment in time, so you are sure to have a place.

Do you think you will need more time with the doctor than a regular consultation? Please mention this when making your appointment.

If you need to come in for a planned check-up, preferably book your appointment two weeks in advance. Ideally, do not book it on a Monday or after a long weekend.

Preferably do not book routine appointments during holiday periods.
