Medisch Huis 't Rondpunt is here for you. It is a place with a homely atmosphere where you are welcome with all your physical, mental, and social concerns. You will be listened to. As a patient, you can rely on the care and dedication of the entire team. Together, we strive for optimal care, with you as an equal partner at the centre. Our organization includes general practitioners, nurses, care assistants, dietitians, physical therapists, a social worker, and medical secretarial staff. We are based in Laakdal with an outreach location in Geel. As a registered patient, you can visit either location for consultations with doctors and/or nurses.
We guarantee high-quality medical care. Our general practitioners work with the utmost professionalism. Their knowledge and experience are scientifically grounded; they are recognized, certified, accredited general practitioners or doctors in training. They regularly participate in professional development and adhere to all regulations set by the RIZIV (Belgian National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance).
Not all complaints can be resolved with a prescription. Sometimes medication cannot provide relief, and in such cases, a team of experts works with you to explore other ways to improve your well-being. We collaborate with specialists from a variety of care fields and, when necessary, with schools, the CLB (Student Guidance Centre), employers, the VDAB (Employment Office), and others. Together with you, the doctors will determine the best course of action, approach, and care to help you move forward.
We strongly believe in the resilience of every patient. Being ill or recovering from an illness does not mean you cannot function meaningfully in society. Often, the right support—physical, psychological, or social—can help you move forward positively.
The doctors ensure that a comprehensive, personalized file is maintained for you. This file includes not only treatments for acute conditions but also preventive measures, chronic disease follow-ups, and information on specific care pathways you are following. No fragmentation, but a centralized, optimized file with all the necessary information in one place.
Medisch Huis 't Rondpunt is affordable. We operate on a flat-rate system, meaning there is a direct settlement between your health insurance fund and Medisch Huis 't Rondpunt. You do not have to pay for consultations or home visits out of pocket, nor do you need to submit documents to your health insurance. Nursing care is also included. However, it is essential to ensure that your health insurance membership is in order! We avoid unnecessary expenses and focus on providing "effective" help.
